Day 1: Arrive in Marrakech—Start of Your 10-Day Morocco Grand Tour

Day 2: Marrakech to Essaouira—Your Coastal Escape on Your 10-Day Morocco Grand Tour

On your second day of the 10 Days Morocco Grand Tour, we drive west towards the Atlantic Ocean. You will see plenty of Argan trees on the route, where goats have been known to climb high into the branches. As we arrive in the blue and white city of Essaouira, you will be greeted by the fresh sea breeze.

Then, you can walk through the old fishing port and have very fresh seafood for lunch. It has well-built walls and a tranquil Medina that’s in some ways the opposite of Marrakech’s bustling streets. Day 3: Essaouira to Marrakech – Free Day of City Exploration

Today we return to the red city to continue your 10-day Morocco Grand Tour with a local guide. You will see the lovely Bahia Palace—colorful tiles and very pretty wooden ceilings. And then we visit the Saadian Tombs to study kings’ history.

Then we stroll into the Jemaa el-Fna square to look at the storytellers, snake charmers, and orange juice stands. This square is the center of the city and an integral part of all the imperial tour cities in Morocco. In the big markets you will have enough time to buy souvenirs.

Day 4: Marrakech to Ouarzazate—Across the Mountains on Your 10-Day Morocco Grand Tour

On the fourth day of your 10-day Morocco Grand Tour, we will cross the High Atlas Mountains. We take the high Tizi n’Tichka Pass, crossing the High Atlas Mountains, enjoying stunning views of the valleys beneath us. Just walk through the mountains, and you will see many small Berber villages made of stones and mud on the side of the mountain.

The next stop is the UNESCO site Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, which is where many famous movies were filmed. The last step is we get to Ouarzazate, called the gate of the desert, to enjoy a good night’s sleep. For history and movie lovers, this is a major highlight of our Morocco desert trip.

Day 5: Ouarzazate to Merzouga, Sahara | 10 Days Morocco Grand Tour

Today, your 10-day Morocco Grand Tour leads you toward the sandy dunes of the Sahara. We drive through the Rose Valley and Dades Gorges with their cave-shaped rocks. After that, we go for an amazing walk between the impressive walls of the Todra Gorges.

Finally, we will reach Merzouga to begin our Sahara Desert trips in Morocco on top of a camel. You will ride to our best luxury desert camp in Marrakech over the dunes at sunset. You will have a traditional dinner and music under the clear, starry sky around a campfire.

Day 6: Explore the Merzouga Region

Day 6: Merzouga – Spectacular Sunrise & Camel Trekking. We wake up early to view the golden sunrise over the dunes on your 10-day Morocco Grand Tour. We then have a good breakfast, after which we use a 4×4 car to visit a nomadic family in the desert. They will invite you to share their simple life and give you tea in their tent.

Day 7: Merzouga to Fes – Traveling north

Then, we arrive at Chefchaouen, the blue city, where all streets are painted in blue and every house is colored in blue.
